Snookie and Friends Return to the Jersey Shore Next Week

The next season MTV"s hit "Jersey Shore" begins shooting next week with the arrival of Snookie, The Situation and six other cast members at the beach house made famous last winter in Seaside Heights.

"We already met with the Chief of Police and our security team is already here," Amy Griggs, Executive in Charge for the Double Guns production company, told NBCNewYork in an exclusive showing of the setup just days before their arrival.

In fact, based on their experience in Miami Beach this spring, Griggs is not expecting any problems in Seaside Heights.

"Like Miami, crowds [showed up] the first couple of days.. .then disseminated," said Griggs.

However, she did admit "We'll get the paparazzi."

Griggs said a crew of about 40 have been hard at work for over a week on "load in, tech, and audio" before the crew's arrival.

Snookie is expected to be here, but MTV is keeping secret if last year's original cast of eight, which were all together last month for the Miami Beach shoot, will still be together next week.

There was a casting call this Spring but for the New Jersey second season shoot, Griggs said "Big mystery, who's coming back."

But a look outside and inside showed little different from last year.

The hot tub is warming up on the upper deck, as is the outdoor lounge bed (think Miami Beach) just steps away, although it was just a frame when we looked at it.

Besides the setup crew of 40, MTV and its production partners are bringing in a crew of roughly 125, mostly from LA, to record the comings and goings, fights and kisses of the eight member cast on a 24/7 round-the-clock basis (wouldn't you like to be on the overnight shift? NOT!!!)

Even as the Miami Beach episodes go on the air starting July 29th, Snookie and Friends will be taping in New Jersey through the Labor Day weekend.
