Slow Demand for Free Fetty Wap Tickets in New Jersey

Demand has been slow for free Fetty Wap tickets in Paterson.

Ticket distribution resumes Tuesday at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. for students in the city's public schools.

Mayor Joey Torres tells The Bergen Record 700 of the 1,200 tickets were handed out on Monday. Torres expected a larger crowd, but he would not speculate why that did not happen.

Some students said there were not bigger crowds because the 7:30 and 9 a.m. pickup times for Eastside and Kennedy high schools were too early. Others said a lot of students lose their school IDs during the summer.

The rapper, who grew up in Paterson, is scheduled to perform a free concert for students at Bauerle Field on Thursday.
