5 Wounded in 2 Separate Brooklyn Shootings: Police

Five people have been wounded in two different shootings in Brooklyn, officials say. 

Three people were shot outside a bodega on Throop Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant at about 2:30 p.m., according to the FDNY. Two of them were taken to Woodhull Hospital, and a third was transported to Kings County Hospital. 

About three hours later, a 14-year-old girl and a 38-year-old woman were were shot near Prospect Park, at Parade Place and Crooke Avenue, police said. Authorities initially said the victims were a man and a woman.

They were both taken to Kings County Hospital and are listed in serious but stable condition. Police are searching for two men or boys who fled on bicycles. 

No arrest has been made in either shooting.
