Cop Fires at Gunman Who Pointed Weapon, No One Hit: NYPD

Police say officers fired shots at a suspect in Brooklyn while responding to a report of gunfire in the area.

Officers were responding to a report of shots fired near East 92nd Street and Avenue B in East Flatbush Tuesday evening when they came upon two men, one of whom was armed and turned his gun toward the officers, according to police.

That's when an officer fired his gun toward the suspect, though no one was hit. The suspects ran away.

It does not appear the gunman fired his weapon at the officer, police said.

The suspects are being sought by police.
