The 49-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital



    Police responded to a second incident of suspicious powder in Darien.

    A man found shot multiple times in the torso in a car Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn has died, according to the NYPD.

    Emmanuel Capers was pronounced dead on arrival at Interfaith Hospital, police say. Officers found the 49-year-old unconscious and unresponsive in the Weeksville section of the borough after receiving a call about a man who had been shot in the area.

    The shooting is still under investigation and no one has been arrested.
