Spa Sex Assault Suspect Beat Victim Unconscious

    Police are searching for the man seen in this surveillance video, accused of a sexually assaulting a woman inside a business at 85 Washington Place. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS or at nypdcrimestoppers.com (Published Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012)

    Police are looking for the suspect who walked into a Greenwich Village spa and beat a woman unconscious before sexually assaulting her and running off with stolen goods.

    The suspect entered the business on Washington Place at 1 a.m. last Friday and beat the 41-year-old woman senseless before sexually attacking her.

    Police say he then removed items from the location and fled.      

    The victim was treated at a hospital.      

    The suspect is described as being 20 to 25 years old and about 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark Kangol-style cap, dark T-shirt, camouflage shorts, and a backpack.
