A convicted sex offender who admitted secretly recording young women at a Long Island swimsuit fashion show has been sentenced to 1 ½ to 3 years in prison.
Robert Liguori was sentenced Wednesday in a Long Island courtroom. He previously pleaded guilty to unlawful surveillance at the fashion show last July in Southampton.
The 52-year-old Liguori had been hired as a freelance photographer at the event.
He admitted placing a video camera in a makeshift dressing room used by female swimsuit models.
Liguori was already a registered sex offender. He was convicted in 2000 on federal child pornography charges. He was released in 2007.
