Sex Abuse Suspect Pulled Up to Girls on Streets: Cops

The man would pull up to the girls in a white sedan and ask for directions, police say

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man wanted for two separate incidents of sex abuse targeting young girls in Elmhurst, Queens.

The first occurred in the area of 54th Avenue at about 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7, police said. The suspect pulled up next to a 12-year-old girl in a white sedan, got out and showed her a piece of paper, asking if she knew the address, according to police.

The girl got into the suspect's car, where he groped her over her clothing, police said. The girl got out of the vehicle and the suspect fled.

The second incident occurred at about 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, in the area of 55th Avenue. Police said the suspect pulled up to a 12-year-old girl and asked for directions, showing her a piece of paper.

When the girl told him she couldn't help him, he touched her over her clothing, police said.

The vehicle is described as a white sedan with a sticker of a green, white and orange or red flag on the driver's door, with an eagle in the middle.
