Police are looking for seven suspects in a Bronx bodega robbery that ended in a violent brawl.
The group of suspects entered the store on the Grand Concourse at East Burnside Avenue just before 11 a.m. May 27 and began to remove various items from the store’s shelves, then tried to leave without paying, police said. When a store employee confronted the suspects, police said some started to throw items at the employee while others started punching him.
Once outside, one of the suspects struck the employee on the head with an umbrella causing a laceration, police said.
The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
