Police are searching for three men suspected in nearly a dozen robberies in Brooklyn, and have released surveillance video of the men approaching a 28-year-old victim in one of the muggings.
The 11 robberies have happened in the Bensonhurst, Borough Park, Windsor Terrace and Sunset Park neighborhoods in October and November. The victims were all male, ranging in age from 23 to 57, police say.
The three men approach their victims on the street, threatening or assaulting them before running away with their personal property, police say.
Surveillance video in a Nov. 1 robbery shows a suspect approaching the victim on the street and cornering him against a gated storefront. The two other suspects, wearing baseball caps and scarves over their faces, quickly surround the victim and appear to demand property from the victim. The victim complies, and the robbers run off.
