Woman Accused of DWI With Child in Car After Long Island Crash

A Long Island woman was arrested on drunk driving charges after police say she crashed her car into two other vehicles with a 4-year-old girl in the car.

Jeannie Muller, 34, is charged with aggravated Leandra’s Law DWI and endangering the welfare of a child after the crash just before 10 p.m. Monday night in Selden.

Police say that Muller was driving a 2014 Jeep on New York Route 25 when it hit two other moving vehicles at Boyle Road.

Muller and the child were both taken to the Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment. The driver of one of the two other vehicles was also taken to the hospital. All three people are expected to survive.

The child was released to a family member.
