A school janitor has been arrested on charges of rape and sex abuse, police said.
Ambiorix Rodriguez was arrested Monday, police said. He worked as a custodian at the Public School of Marketing and Legal Studies, which teaches grades 6-8, in East Flatbush, Brooklyn.
According to the New York Post, Rodriguez was arrested in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl in the school's basement.
He has been fired from his job and will be banned from working at any DOE buildings, the Post reports.
