A 27-year-old motorcyclist has been killed in a crash with a school bus on Long Island, police say.
Police say the motorcyclist was eastbound on Merrick Road in Baldwin. He collided with a bus at the intersection of Lancaster Avenue shortly before 8 a.m. Monday.
Nassau County police say 23 children on the bus between the ages of 5 and 14 were not injured. A 64-year-old female bus driver was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The motorcyclist was not immediately identified. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
