Scaffolding Collapses on Upper West Side Amid Heavy Winds: FDNY

Whipping winds caused scaffolding to collapse outside a building on the Upper West Side Tuesday night, fire officials say.

The FDNY says the scaffolding outside a building at West 62nd Street and Broadway fell at about 10 p.m., sending debris crashing onto the street.

No one was injured in the collapse, and crews were sent to the scene. It’s not clear if the building sustained any damage.
