An all-night standoff in East Rockaway ended Tuesday morning.

A police SWAT Team arrested a man who had barricaded himself inside a house on Rahme Avenue with his wife and children at about midnight.

At one point, the man answered the door when police rang, and his face was bloodied.

Later, the man had grabbed a baseball bat and went running down the driveway. That's when police corralled him at about 7 a.m.

The kids ranged in age from an infant to a 15-year-old. No one was injured.

It's not clear what prompted the confrontation.
