SUV Crashes Into MTA Bus in Manhattan: FDNY

Both drivers were hurt, the FDNY says

    An SUV crashed into an MTA bus on Manhattan's East Side Tuesday afternoon, injuring both drivers, authorities say. 

    The SUV crashed into the bus in front of 883 1st Avenue, near 49th Street, at about 4:15 p.m., according to the FDNY.

    The bus driver had minor injuries, but refused medical attention. The driver of the SUV was taken to Cornell Medical Center and was listed in serious but stable condition.

    The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
