Rutgers University Restores Online Service After Cyberattack

Technicians have restored Internet service following a cyberattack at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

University officials say the attack began on Friday and service on and off campus was not completely restored until Tuesday.

Service was slow and sometimes was not available.

Spokesman E.J. Miranda says there is no evidence that any confidential information was compromised.

The FBI is investigating.

A cyberattack at Fairleigh Dickinson University was quickly resolved over the weekend.
