Man Walks into Women's Restroom at Rutgers, Exposes Self and Gropes Woman: Police

A man walked into a women's bathroom in a library at Rutgers University, exposed himself to two women inside and groped one of them before running away, police say.

Rutgers Police are investigating the Wednesday night incident at the Archibald Stevens Alexander Library on College Avenue.

One of the women, who police said is connected with the university but did not specify whether she is a student, was in the restroom when the suspect entered, according to police. She alerted a friend, who entered the restroom and saw the man exposing himself.

The man touched one of the women in the buttocks, then fled, police said.

The suspect is about 18 to 21 years old, 5 feet 4 inches, and was wearing blue jeans, a light blue shirt with white pinstripes and black wire-rimmed glasses, according to police. Anyone with information is asked to call Rutgers Police at 848-932-8025.
