Rutgers Working to Restore Online Services Following Outages

For the second time in less than a month, Rutgers University is working to get its computer network fully operational.

The latest issues arose Monday, when "technical difficulties" caused service interruptions across the school's New Brunswick campus.

School officials say they are working to resolve the issue, but further information on what may have caused the problem have not been disclosed.

According to an announcement on the school's website, network difficulties persisted into Tuesday morning.

The school's internet service was shut down late last month following a cyberattack. But officials have said no sensitive information was stolen during the attack.

The FBI is investigating the earlier cyberattack.
