Con Edison responded to a power outage on Roosevelt Island Friday, which displaced students in at least one school, officials said.
The utility was asking customers to reduce their power usage as crews worked on the problem.
Students from P.S. 217 were relocated to a church, according to the Office of Emergency Management.
