NY Man Accused of Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend, Another Man in Her Home: Police

A 24-year-old Rockland man has been arrested, accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's home and stabbing her, along with the father of her toddler son, police say.

Brandyn Johnson of Pomona kicked down the door of the New City home late Sunday night and stabbed his 29-year-old ex-girlfriend and a 35-year-old man, both in the torso, police said. He then fled the home.

The victims called police and were taken to Westchester Medical Center. The woman is expected to survive, and the man, who was being treated for multiple severe stab wounds, remained in intensive care Monday. His condition wasn't immediately available.

The victims live together in the home with their 2-year-old son, police said. The boy was home at the time but was not hurt, and is now staying with relatives.

Johnston was arrested in Mount Ivy on charges of attempted murder, burglary, weapon possession and child endangerment. He was scheduled to be arraigned in Clarkstown Justice Court Monday.

Attorney information for Johnson wasn't immediately available.
