Robbery Suspect Escapes Brooklyn Jail

Police want public's help in finding him.

    Police are asking for the public's help in finding a robbery suspect who escaped from the 61st precinct stationhouse in Brooklyn while in police custody last night.

    Thomas Davtian, 27, was arrested for robbery earlier Tuesday. He was taken to the stationhouse and managed to escape custody later that evening as he waited in an interview room.

    The suspect is described as about 6 feet 2 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair.

    The suspect was last seen wearing a gray T-Shirt, dark blue jeans and black sneakers with a red stripe.
