HIV-Positive Sex Offender Pleads Guilty to Teen Sex Charges

Deliveryman Robert Musmacker strikes again.

In 1992, the Oceanside newspaper deliveryman registered as a sex offender following a sodomy conviction involving a 6-year-old relative.

Monday, he plead guilty to a 25-count indictment charging him with reckless endangerment, criminal sex acts and endangering the welfare of a child.

Musmacker, 37, admitted to having sex with nine young men between the ages of 16 and 20 from the summer of 2007 to the end of 2008.

He allegedly plied his victims by giving them cell phones, prepaid phone cards, alcohol and marijuana. None of his victims are believed to have gotten HIV.

Suffolk County Judge Barbara Kahn plans on sentencing Musmacker for 14 years in prison, and 15 years post-release supervision.
