Cops Seek Suspect in Ridgewood Subway Groping

Man wanted for questioning in connection with last week's groping incident at a subway station in Ridgewood, Queens.

Police in Ridgewood, Queens, have released a surveillance video still of a man wanted for questioning in connection with a sexual assault last Thursday.

Police said the man approached a 22-year-old woman at the Seneca Avenue subway stop on the M line at about 8 a.m. on Oct. 19.

The man groped her, then fled the station. He was last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt with the ECKO brand logo on the front.

Police have been investigating a string of sex attacks in Queens, mainly in the southeastern section of the borough. Ridgewood is closer to Brooklyn on the western side of Queens.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested Monday in two of the Queens assaults.
