Police are offering a $12,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man who tried to rape a woman sleeping in her Brooklyn home Sunday night.
The man allegedly forced his way into the woman's home near Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sunday and climbed on top of her.
The victim woke up as the man was trying to rape her and fought back. They struggled, and the intruder darted out a window.
Surveillance video shows the man believed to be the suspect heading down the street, wheeling a bicycle, and looking behind him as if to see if he's being pursued.
The woman had minor injuries.
