The New York City medical examiner's office has identified the remains of another 9/11 victim.

The office announced Thursday that it had identified 52-year-old Anna A. Laverty.

The identification came after remains recovered in the original efforts at the World Trade Center site were retested.
Laverty, who lived in Middletown, N.J., was a legal secretary at Fiduciary Trust Company.

More than 2,750 people were reported missing. The total number of identifications is now 1,634.
