Police are searching for an alleged rapist who attacked a woman on a Bronx street early Wednesday morning.
Police said the 32-year-old woman was walking on the 1900 block of Amethyst Street at about 4:45 a.m. when the suspect approached her and began talking with her.
He then punched her in the face, raped her and took $40 from her bag before running away, police said.
The suspect is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, according to police.
