A Long Island man is accused of raping a 13-year-old girl he met online.
Nassau County police say the girl met the 25-year-old suspect on Facebook in July.
They say the suspect engaged in sexual activity with the victim in his car on multiple occasions.
Tereso De Jesus Ruiz-Hernandez of Bayville was arrested Monday by Glen Cove police. He was charged with rape and two counts of criminal sexual act.
Police ask anyone who may know of additional victims to contact the Special Victims Squad or their local police department.
It wasn't immediately clear if Ruiz-Hernandez had a lawyer.
