Rangers Invite Assualted Fan to Home Game

They've invited Neal Auricchio tickets to a home game against the Devils next month

The Woodbridge police officer and decorated war veteran who was beaten up near the Winter Classic in Philadelphia is getting a little help from some buddies in blue.

The New York Rangers have offered Neal Aurrichio free tickets to a home game against the New Jersey Devils next month.

Auricchio is expected to undergo surgery for his injuries.

NBC New York first reported Auricchio was the Rangers fan brutally beaten by several men in Flyers jerseys in the video that went viral after the Winter Classic.

Police said they are still looking for his attackers.
