Milder temperatures moved into the tri-state area Thursday morning, but rain showers and possible thunderstorms are expected to affect the area this afternoon.
Temperatures will climb close to 60 degrees today, with a high of 59, Storm Team 4 said. Afternoon showers and possible thunderstorms will move in between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. before the temperature plunges back into the 40s tonight.
Friday will be mostly dry, but a passing shower may move in, especially north and west of the city. Temperatures will be cooler, with a high of about 50 degrees, Storm Team 4 reported.
Saturday will be wet again, with a period of showers in the afternoon. The rain may mix or change to wet snow later in the day or night before it tapers off, Storm Team 4 said.
No accumulation is expected in the city.
