Rain Doesn't Stop Dominican Day Parade

A small delay and a downpour of rain just wouldn't put a damper on Sunday's celebration of Dominican heritage.

Brave New Yorkers huddled under umbrellas and lined Sixth Avenue for the 30th annual Dominican Day Parade.

The parade kicked off at 2 p.m. and ran from 37th Street up to 52nd Street.

Congressman Charles Rangel, state lawmakers and city, labor and political officials were in attendance.
