Cops Seek Armed Robber Targeting Delivery Trucks

Investigators have identified the suspect at 28-year-old Darren Hicks, who's wanted for 11 gunpoint robberies in Queens

Police are looking for an armed robber who has been targeting delivery truck drivers stopped in front of businesses across Queens.

Investigators have identified the suspect at 28-year-old Darren Hicks, who's wanted for 11 gunpoint robberies in the borough.

Police say Hicks has robbed:

  • a Pepsi delivery truck driver in front of J&C Grocery at 110-02 Guy R. Brewer Blvd.;
  • a worker inside the Howard Johnson Inn at 153-95 Rockaway Blvd;
  • a worker at a Subway sandwich shop at 252-18 Rockaway Blvd.;
  • a worker inside the Cambria Car Wash and Detailing Center at 208-15 Linden Blvd.;
  • a delivery truck driver in front of C-Town Supermarket at 195-09 Jamaica Ave.;
  • two delivery truck drivers at the intersection of 114th Drive and Farmers Boulevard;
  • a delivery truck driver at the Farmbria Food Center at Linden Boulevard and 219th Street;
  • a worker inside the Fine Fare Supermarket at 199-11 Hollis Ave.;
  • a Red Bull delivery truck driver parked at Hillside Avenue and 179th Street;
  • a 7-Up delivery truck driver outside Key Food Supermarket at 213-22 Jamaica Ave.;
  • and a Boar's Head delivery truck driver in front of Rite Aid drugstore at 222-14 Linden Blvd.
