Skateboarder on NYC Hotel Rampage: I Was “Like the Hulk”

The athlete says a woman he met at a bar gave him the pills

A professional skateboarder who tore paintings off the walls of a New York City hotel is blaming his bizarre, naked ruckus on drinking and what he thought were anti-hangover pills.

Jereme Rogers said Wednesday he wasn't himself — and was "something like the Hulk" — during last week's rampage at the Affinia Shelburne hotel in Manhattan.

The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor criminal mischief charge. His case will be closed without further jail time or probation if he pays $2,850 in restitution.

The athlete says a woman he met at a bar gave him the pills.

Rogers retired from skateboarding in 2009 to become a rap artist, but announced a planned comeback last year. He says he's skating "better than ever."

The hotel declined to comment.
