2 Ejected When Power Boats Collide in NJ

Two people were ejected from a boat when it collided with another boat in Monmouth County, N.J. Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

The U.S. Coast Guard said a 30-foot power boat and a 25-foot power boat collided just before 1 p.m. in Spermaceti Cove in Middletown. The two occupants on the smaller boat were thrown into the water. They were taken to the New Jersey Shore Medical Center with minor injuries. 

The two people on the other boat were not hurt.

State Police are investigating.
