Police are looking for a man suspected in a string of bank robberies in the Bronx.

The latest was reported on Oct. 17 in the Baychester neighborhood, where the Hudson Valley Bank on Allerton Avenue was held up; the same bank was robbed last May. The nearby Bank of America Bank branch on Allerton also was robbed twice.

Police suspect the same man in the four robberies, as well as a holdup at the Capital One Bank on White Plains Road.

Authorities describe him as a stocky black man in his 20s or 30s. He usually covers his face with a baseball cap, and has been seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt, down vest, blue jeans and white sneakers.
