Police are searching for a man who they say tried to rape a woman in Queens Friday morning.

Authorities say the suspect entered the woman's apartment in Ozone Park and put a pocket knife to her neck.

He told the woman to undress and she complied, but then a struggle ensued and the woman was able to wrestle the knife away from him.

Police say the suspect then took out a second pocket knife and cut the victim's wrist and finger before fleeing.

Police released a sketch of the suspect (see above). Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
