Police Seek Missing NJ Sex Offender

Police are on the hunt for a convicted sex offender from New Jersey.

Paul Timmendequas, who was convicted of sexually assaulting two young girls in 1999, failed to check in with his parole officer on Tuesday and he has not been seen since.

Timmendequas had been staying at the Beauty Rest Motel in Edison, authorities said.

Timmendequas’ brother, Jesse Timmendequas, is serving life in prison for the murder of 7-year-old Megan Kanka, the little girl for whom Megan's Law was named.
