Police are looking for a man in connection to a violent Queens rape over the weekend.

According to the NYPD, the man they are looking for dragged a 22-year-old woman underneath a Long Island Rail Road trestle just before 3 a.m. Sunday in Jamaica. He then beat the victim with a hard object before sexually assaulting her, then fled the scene near the corner of 157th Street and Tuskegee Airmen Way.

The victim was treated at a nearby hospital for a head injury.

Police describe the suspect as a heavy-set man about 5’8 in his 40s, with a dark-colored cap. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and dark pants.
