A 26-year-old man killed a 29-year-old woman before jumping to his death from the roof of a Brooklyn apartment building, police say.

Police went to the building on Roebling Street late Tuesday afternoon after receiving a report of an unconscious female. When they arrived, they found Liliana Belfor dead in the bathtub. She was covered with blood.

Witnesses told police they saw the suspect, Efriam Gabourel, flee the apartment and run in the direction of the roof. Officers followed him.

Gabourel jumped.

Both Gabourel and Belfor were pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
