Newark, N.J. police are investigating the death of a five-year-old boy that authorities are calling a homicide.
Police responded to a 911 call Sunday night at the home on Esther Street.
Essex County prosecutors say the boy lived with his mother, and say there's no record of any problems at the household.
Prosecutors would not say whether anyone is being questioned in the child's death.
No arrests have been made.
