Police are searching for a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault of a woman in Queens.
The attack took place at 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
They 35-year-old victim was walking near 89th street and Jamaica Avenue when the suspect grabbed her from behind and placed her in a choke hold.
The suspect then dragged the victim into an alley, punched her in the head, face and back and proceeded to sexually assault her, according to police.
The suspect is described as a being in his mid-20s and approximately 5-feet-9-inches tall with a medium build and short black spiky hair.
Police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
