Plax: Gonna Give Them Everything I Got

Plaxico Burress is the newest Jet. After nearly three years away from the NFL and almost 2 years in prison, the former Giant signed a one year deal to play to for Gang Green and head coach Rex Ryan.

Coughlin: "I'm Willing To Listen."

Speaking to the media on the day training camp opened, Giants head coach Tom Coughlin was swamped with questions on free agent wide receiver Plaxico Burress, and whether a reunion is in the cards. Coughlin and Burress will dine out Friday night, and the head coach said it's a chance for the two, who have butted heads in the past, to clear the air.

Plaxico Burress has missed his second straight practice with the New York Jets because of an ankle injury.

The wide receiver was expected to practice for the first time Thursday once the labor agreement was ratified.

But he rolled his left ankle while running routes with Santonio Holmes on Wednesday. He was in uniform for Friday's afternoon practice, as he was Thursday, but mostly as a sideline spectator.

Burress worked with a trainer and caught a few footballs from a machine. He still has ankle swelling, and coach Rex Ryan says the team will be cautious.

Burress served 20 months in prison on a gun charge and was signed by the Jets on Sunday.
