A pilot and his 9-year-old son walked away from an Ultralight plane crash on Long Island.
Officials say the plane had just taken off from Lufker Airport Saturday afternoon when the pilot realized the plane was having engine trouble.
While trying to land, he lost power and crashed in a grassy area near the runway.
The FAA is investigating.
