Case Closed After Woman Admits to 10-Pound Pot Stash

Photographer Jennifer Tzar's is set to be closed without jail time or probation if she stays out of trouble for three years

A photographer has admitted keeping more than 10 pounds of marijuana in her New York City apartment — a stash authorities found as they investigated a fire elsewhere in the building.

Jennifer Tzar pleaded guilty Thursday to a top-level marijuana possession charge. Her case is set to be closed without jail time or probation if she stays out of trouble for three years.

Defense lawyer Robert Gottlieb says Tzar is "absolutely thrilled" with the outcome.

The 44-year-old Tzar was one of the residents forced from her Manhattan building by an electrical blaze in August. The city Special Narcotics Prosecutor's office says fire marshals came across the drug in laundry bags in her apartment.

Tzar has photographed entertainers ranging from singer Ozzy Osbourne to actress Zooey Deschanel.
