Person Hit by Train at Times Square: FDNY

A person was hit by a train at the Times Square-42nd Street subway station Wednesday just hours after the ball dropped over the street above, the FDNY says.

The fire department responded ot the station at Seventh Avenue and 42nd Street about 3 a.m.

It's not immediately known whether the person was hurt.

Subway service was suspended along the 1, 2 and 3 lines at the station around 3 a.m., but has resumed, the MTA says.
