Desta Abraham via Twitter

Penn Station was evacuated for about an hour Thursday night as police investigated a report of a suspicious package.

Delays were reported on all Long Island Rail Road branches as police investigated, and subways bypassed the 34th Street station.

Police issued an all-clear around 11 p.m. after the item in question was deemed harmless, and the station was reopened.
