A woman was struck and killed by a yellow taxi on the Upper East Side Friday evening, authorities said.
Barbara Horn, 80, was crossing East 70th Street at Third Avenue when the cab hit her, according to police.
Cops said that the car was turning left onto East 70th Street when it crashed into her on the crosswalk.
Emergency responders rushed Horn to Cornell Hospital in critical condition. She later died.
No arrests have been made, and police are still investigating.
