Man, 26, Struck and Killed Walking on Queens Street

Charges are pending against a driver who allegedly struck and killed a 26-year-old man who was walking in Queens late Monday, police said.

Officers responding to a 911 call found Kaman Drummond on the ground near 208th Street and 109th Avenue in Bellair shortly before midnight.

He had severe trauma to his body and head and was pronounced dead at Queens General Hospital, police said.

A woman who was allegedly driving the Honda Accord that hit him was taken into custody at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
