A pedestrian was killed early Friday after being hit by a car on the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx, police say.
The pedestrian, whose identity hasn't yet been released, was looking to cross the road at Van Courtland Park when he was hit by the vehicle, police say. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car was still at the scene when police arrived. No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
