Paterson Councilman Arrested in Voter Fraud Case

A northern New Jersey city councilman faces charges stemming from a voter fraud investigation.

State troopers arrested Paterson Councilman Rigo Rodriguez, his wife Lissette and campaign manager Juan Jimenez on witness tampering charges Thursday morning.

The arrests came one day after the state Attorney General's Office announced the arrests of 11 of the councilman's supporters in connection to the case which stems from the May 2010 city council election.
